How Macomb Power Washing Solutions, LLC handles the information you share on lightcastmi.com, including your phone number and text-message consent. Effective September 24, 2026.

1. Who we are and what this covers

LightCast belongs to Macomb Power Washing Solutions, LLC, a Michigan limited liability company. In this policy “MPWS”, “we” and “us” mean that company, whose office address is 21366 Hall Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48038. Below is what we collect when you use lightcastmi.com, including the LightCast measuring tool, the estimate request form and the “send my number” form under the tool, and what we do with it.

Once you are a customer, your quote, schedule and invoices sit in our own customer management system and are handled as the Macomb Power Washing Solutions privacy policy describes. Our SMS terms apply alongside this policy.

2. What we collect

What you give us

  • The contact details you type into a form: your name, phone number, email address, and the street and city of the house.
  • Your request: permanent lighting or a seasonal lease, any notes you add, plus the LightCast figures when you measured before asking (linear feet, peaks and the price range).
  • Your answer to the text-message consent box, with the date and time you gave it.
  • Whatever you tell us by phone, text or email.

What is collected automatically

  • Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-YJBK6H7RGQ, the same property macombpowerwashing.com uses) sets cookies that log which pages you open, the site or search that brought you here, your browser and device, your IP address and a rough location. It loads after your first scroll, tap or key press, or after three seconds.
  • As you use the measuring tool it sends anonymous events to Google Analytics: the step you reached and numbers such as the photo’s size in pixels, how much of the roofline was found, the measured footage, the count of peaks and valleys, and the price range. Those events carry numbers only. They never include the photo, your name, your address or anything you typed. We also count clicks on buttons such as call, estimate and share, and whether a request was sent and by which route (see section 3).
  • If a tagged link brought you here, such as one in an ad, an email or a printed QR code, your browser keeps that link’s campaign tags (utm_source and the like), the first page you opened and the website that sent you, for this visit only. They travel with a request you send, so we can see which link led to it, and they are never sent to Google Analytics alongside anything you typed.
  • Netlify, our website host, keeps standard server logs.

What we do not collect

  • Your photo. LightCast finds the roofline, sets the scale and runs the pricing math on your own device. It is never uploaded: not to us, not to any other party.
  • The tool can remember the roofline outline and scale you set, in your own browser’s storage, so you can pick up where you left off. That stays on your device and never reaches us.
  • We never read your device’s location, and we buy no data about you from brokers. When you send a request, we do convert the service address on it into map coordinates for route planning.

3. Where your request goes

When you send the estimate form or the “send my number” form, your request goes straight into our own customer management system, the same place your quote, schedule and invoices are kept. There is no third-party booking service in the middle.

If that delivery does not go through, or a “send my number” request has an email address but no phone number, the same request is saved by Netlify Forms, the form service of our website host, so it still reaches us and no request is lost. Our analytics records which of the two routes a request took. It never records what was in the request.

4. How we use it

  • To prepare your estimate and answer questions about it.
  • To schedule, install and look after the lighting you book, and to send confirmations, reminders, invoices and receipts.
  • To reply to your calls, texts and emails, and to follow up after the work.
  • To see how people use this website and the measuring tool, so we can improve both.
  • To keep whatever records tax rules, insurers and other laws oblige us to hold, and to protect our crews, customers and property.

5. Text messages and your phone number

Our texts are only ever about your own request and service: links to your quote, confirmations and reminders for appointments, updates about the work, invoices and receipts, follow-up questions, and answers when you message us first. There are no marketing blasts. Should we ever want to send promotional texts, we would first ask for a separate, express consent, which you could take back whenever you like.

How you opt in

On lightcastmi.com you opt in by ticking the text-message consent box on a request form. The box is unchecked by default, and its label carries the full disclosure, which is quoted on our SMS terms page. Leave it unticked and we reply by email or phone instead, with the same quote. Texting us at (586) 284-3810 also opts you in, as does handing your mobile number to someone on our team and saying yes to texts. We note when and how you agreed. Agreeing to texts is never required to buy from us.

How often, and what it costs

How many texts you get depends on your request; expect a handful for each estimate or appointment. Your carrier’s message and data rates may apply. Text STOP at any time to opt out. We send one message confirming it and then go quiet, until you reply START or ask us to begin again. Text HELP for help, or use the contact details in section 14.

Mobile information is never shared for marketing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Twilio, the service that carries our texts, is the one outside company that sees your mobile number, and it may use the number for delivery and nothing else.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not give your name, address, phone number or email address to any third party or affiliate for its own marketing. We share information only in these cases:

  • Service providers that work for us, may use your information only to do that work, and must protect it:
    • Netlify: hosts this website and our customer management system, and holds a request through Netlify Forms when the direct delivery fails.
    • Google: the website analytics in section 7.
    • Twilio: sends and receives our texts.
    • Resend: sends our emails, such as quotes, invoices, receipts and service notes.
    • Stripe: takes card and bank payments from customers. Full card and account numbers stay with Stripe and are never kept on our systems.
    • Map services built on OpenStreetMap: see an address, or its coordinates, when we locate a property or route a crew.
  • The law: when a subpoena, a court order or a lawful demand from a government agency requires it, or when we have to disclose something to protect our rights, our people, our customers or the public.
  • A change of ownership: if the company is sold, merged or reorganized, your information moves to the new owner and stays under this policy.

None of the categories above includes text-message opt-in data or consent, except that Twilio carries the messages you asked for. Google, and every other advertising, analytics or marketing provider, receives no mobile opt-in data or consent from us.

7. Cookies and analytics

The Google Analytics cookies show us visitor counts, the pages and tool steps people use, and where visits come from. The setup links visits between lightcastmi.com and macombpowerwashing.com, so someone who moves between the two sites counts as one visit. Your name, phone, email and street address are never sent to Google, and form entries are not passed to it. This site runs no advertising pixel.

To limit or stop that measurement, block cookies, use a content blocker, or add Google’s Analytics opt-out extension to your browser. Or email hello@macombpowerwashing.com and we will explain which parts we can turn off on our side and which only your browser can.

Do Not Track. Browsers can send a Do Not Track signal, but websites have no agreed way to honor it, so this one ignores it. Use the controls above, or email us.

8. How long we keep it

Customer records stay with us through the time you are a customer, then while tax, insurance and other legal rules demand them, generally no more than seven years. Records of text consent, and of any stop request, are held for at least four years after our last exchanged message, so we can prove when consent was given or taken back. Google Analytics data follows Google’s default retention; we do not lengthen it. You may ask for earlier deletion, within the limits of those legal duties.

9. Security

This website is served over encrypted connections. Your request and customer record live in our own customer management system, on secured cloud servers behind a login, and only the team members who need them to quote, schedule and do your job can see them. No way of sending or storing data is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise nothing will ever go wrong, but we take reasonable care, scaled to a business our size, over what you share with us.

10. Your choices and rights

  • Texts: send STOP to end them and HELP for help.
  • Email: answer any of our emails asking us to stop, or write to hello@macombpowerwashing.com. Any marketing email we ever send will include an unsubscribe link.
  • Calls: say you prefer no calls and we will record that preference.
  • Seeing, fixing or erasing your information: call (586) 284-3810 or email hello@macombpowerwashing.com. We confirm your request promptly and answer it within 45 days, or tell you if we need longer. Where a law makes us keep something, we will explain that. An authorized agent may ask on your behalf.

Depending on your state, consumer privacy law may give you further rights, such as refusing the sale or sharing of your personal information, and equal treatment when you use a privacy right. We sell no personal information and will never treat you worse for asking. If we have to confirm who you are first, we will ask only for what that requires.

11. Children

This site and our work are aimed at property owners. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone younger than 18; tell us if a minor has sent us information and we will erase it.

This site links to macombpowerwashing.com, to our reviews on Google and to the outside sources our guides cite. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this one does not cover what they collect.

13. Changes to this policy

Any revision will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If it materially changes how we treat your phone number or texts, we will also let you know directly before it applies. Using the site after a revision takes effect means the new version covers that use.
