LightCast · a Macomb Power Washing Solutions product

Your house.
Lit like it means it.

Permanent LED roofline lighting. Measured from one photo of your home. Installed once. Never a ladder again.

One install.

A slim aluminum track under your eaves and along every peak. Fitted once. Stays put.

Every night.

Dusk to whatever hour you choose. Automatically. All year.

No ladder. No totes.
No “we’ll call you back with a quote.”

Upload a photo. LightCast finds your roofline, measures it in real feet, counts every peak, and prices the job in about a minute. On your phone. Before you tell anyone your name.

Tuesday.

Warm white, dusk to ten. The house you already have, looking like it costs more.

December.

Red and green in four seconds. Nobody on frozen ground. Nobody on a ladder.

October.

Orange and purple. The kids on your street will know your address by heart.

July.

Red, white and blue for the Fourth. Already installed. Already paid for.

Sunday.

Your team’s colors, from your phone, from the couch. Every zone, every effect, on a schedule.

And at 8am?

The question everyone asks about permanent lighting.

It disappears.

Low-profile track, color-matched to your trim, tucked under the drip edge. From the street in daylight, most people never notice it is there.

Why permanent

Every December, the same physics play out across Macomb County.

Freezing garage. Tangled totes. A ladder on frozen ground. Half a strand dead by the weekend. Permanent lighting ends all of it, because nothing ever comes down.

Commercial-grade RGBW track, fitted to your architecture

Individually addressable LEDs in a low-profile aluminum channel that follows eaves, gables, peaks, columns and dormers. Warm white and full color from the same fixture. Not the retail strands that fail mid-season.

Phone control

Colors, zones, brightness, schedules and effects. Change the whole house in a few seconds without touching a plug.

Runs itself

On at dusk, off at the hour you pick. Every night of the year, without a timer you have to reset after a power flicker.

Rated for Michigan winters

Sealed connectors and no filaments to snap in the cold. It has been through the lake-effect and it does not care.

Barely visible in daylight

The channel is color-matched to your trim and tucked under the eave. Neighbors see the lights, not the hardware.

Priced from measured footage

Linear feet of lit roofline, stories, pitch and peak count. Real geometry, not a number somebody guessed over the phone.

Never damages a roof

Mounted to fascia or under the drip edge with fasteners chosen for the substrate. Never staples, never nails into shingles, never a leak path.

Permanent vs. seasonal

We install both. Here is the honest math.

If you plan to be in the house more than about four years and you would use lighting outside December, permanent wins on cost and effort. If you want the classic December-only look or you may move soon, seasonal is the right call and we will say so.

Measure your roofline right now. From the couch.

Every lighting quote in this industry starts with someone driving to your house and pointing a tape measure at your gutters. The measurement is geometry. Geometry is automatable. So we automated it.

◈ MPWS LightCast — Proprietary Design Tool

Scan Your Roofline. See It Lit. Get a Real Number.

Upload one photo from the street. LightCast finds your roofline automatically, lights it up so you can flip through colors on your own house, and — once you tap a known reference like your garage door — measures the run in real linear feet and prices it from that measurement. It works for permanent lighting installation and seasonal displays alike, and the final number is confirmed on site before anything is ordered.

Who is behind LightCast

Built by the people who already clean your roofline.

LightCast is a Macomb Power Washing Solutions product. We are the crews on the ladders across Macomb and Oakland County all summer, soft-washing siding and cleaning the roofs and gutters your lights will hang from. We know your eaves better than anyone who has only ever priced them from a truck.

We wrote software because “someone will call you back with a quote” is a sentence that deserved to die. LightCast detects the roofline in your photo, anchors the scale to a reference you tap once, and runs the exact pricing math our crews use. What used to be an appointment is now a minute.

  • Same clip-only, no-staples discipline our washing crews apply all year. Nothing driven into a shingle, ever.
  • Free repairs on seasonal displays all season. Permanent track and diodes carry a warranty, and zoning means we find a dead run without pulling anything down.
  • Your photo never leaves your phone. Detection, measurement and pricing all run in your browser. Close the tab and it is gone.

Fair questions

Things people ask before they say yes.

How much does permanent lighting installation cost?

It is priced by linear footage of roofline and by how complex the run is. Peaks, dormers and multiple stories all add labor. Permanent track runs $22 to $34 per lit foot installed. It costs more up front than a single seasonal install and nothing after that, since there is no annual install or takedown. Measure your own roofline with LightCast above and you will have a real range in about a minute.

Is permanent lighting visible during the day?

Barely. The track is a low-profile channel that tucks under the eave line and is color-matched to the trim, so from the street in daylight most people never notice it. That is the main reason homeowners choose it over leaving seasonal strands up year-round, which does get noticed.

Will it damage my roof or gutters?

Not when it is fitted correctly. The track mounts to the fascia or under the drip edge with fasteners chosen for the substrate. Never staples or nails into shingles, and never anything that lifts a shingle course and creates a leak path. The same rule governs our seasonal installs.

How accurate is LightCast’s measurement?

Accurate enough to quote from. It converts pixels to feet using a known reference on your own house, and a garage door is ideal because standard widths make it a built-in ruler. It counts peaks the same way our crews do. The final figure is confirmed on site before anything is ordered, so the number you see is a real price, not bait.

Where does my photo go?

Nowhere. LightCast runs entirely in your browser. The roofline detection, the measurement and the pricing math all happen on your device, and the photo is never uploaded to us or anyone else. We built it this way on purpose. A quote tool should not cost you your privacy.

What kind of photo works best?

One straight-on shot of the front of the house from the street or sidewalk, in daylight, with the full roofline in frame and a garage door or front door visible as the size reference. Phone cameras are perfect. Heavy tree cover in front of the roofline is the one thing that genuinely confuses it, so step to whichever angle shows the eaves.

What happens if a light goes out?

Permanent installations carry a warranty on the track and diodes, and because the system is zoned we can identify which run has failed without pulling everything down. On seasonal installs we fix outages, storm-loosened sections and timer faults free all season, usually within a couple of days.

When should I book?

Autumn. Permanent lighting is less weather-bound than a seasonal hang, but stake-mounted elements still need unfrozen ground. The calendar fills in strict order: clients who call in September choose their install date, and the ones who call after Thanksgiving choose from what is left.
