Barely. The track is a low-profile channel that tucks under the eave line and is color-matched to the trim, so from the street in daylight most people never notice it. Not when it is fitted correctly. The track mounts to the fascia or under the drip edge with fasteners chosen for the substrate. Never staples or nails into shingles, and never anything that lifts a shingle course and creates a leak path. The same rule governs our seasonal installs. Accurate enough to quote from. It converts pixels to feet using a known reference on your own house, and a garage door is ideal because standard widths make it a built-in ruler. It counts peaks the same way our crews do. The final figure is confirmed on site before anything is ordered, so the number you see is a real price, not bait.

Nowhere. Your photo is processed in your browser and never uploaded: the roofline detection, the measurement and the pricing math all happen on your device, and no copy goes to us or anyone else. The tool does report anonymous usage figures, like the measured footage and the price it showed, to Google Analytics; the image is never among them. We built it this way on purpose. A quote tool should not cost you your privacy.

Permanent installations carry a warranty on the track and diodes, and because the system is zoned we can identify which run has failed without pulling everything down. Yes. Permanent Christmas lights, permanent holiday lights, permanent outdoor lights, eave lights, soffit lights and year-round Christmas lights are all names people search for this one exterior product: commercial RGBW LEDs in a low-profile aluminum channel, mounted to the fascia or under the drip edge along the eaves and up the gables, and controlled from your phone. It lights the outside of the house only. We call it LightCast permanent roofline lighting because Christmas is only one night of it. Usually, and the boards that ask questions ask the same two: what does it look like in daylight, and what does it do to the house. In daylight the channel is color-matched to your trim and tucked under the drip edge, so it reads as part of the trim line. It fastens to the fascia or drip edge and never through a shingle, so taking it down later leaves the roof exactly as it was. Autumn callers pick their date. Permanent lighting is installed once, in an autumn visit, and the calendar fills in order: the earlier you call, the more dates you choose from.
